How are the knobs I sent you coming along?

Can anyone identify this as OEM in any market, or from some other vehicle?

Looks like OEM Aussie-issue HJ60, circa 1985, one of the early 5-speeds...

Bump so Drew knows what I am referring to...the shift knob style is also out of the early 1980's Celica/Supra, there is also a similar version that were not leather wrapped and that is what I am interested in, along with a case knob with my pattern, both smooth 1980's style in hopefully a grey resin.

HF 55 5 speed knob

Andrew:
Thanks for the custom fan, heat, hazard knobs you did last month- they are excellent. Georg is putting an HF55 together for me and I prefer the original black rubber round 5 speed knob similar to the 4 speed knob rather than the newer gray square thing. Can you put one together for me?

Just an update, been collecting some new styles.

Top pic: Thanks to cruiser_guy I've now got a mold for old-school PTO knobs, as well as even older-school dash pulls.

Bottom pic: FYI, you can have these in any color you like too...

If I find the old style wiper knob, and any others, in my stash when I get back I'll send that your way for moulding in November.

Just wanted to say, I got the new FJ40 icon flasher knob a while back and it is just too cool. Even the wife said it looked 'correct' for the truck over the OEM knob! :D

On another note,

Poser that pic you posted? Any further information on the knob and parts? Year, country of origin?
I rotated the pic so I could see what it has printed on it. W N Un W = Wind Neutral Un-Wind

..and after, like the :princess: (wife) even said.. "Now it looks like it should, like it belongs there!"
*Most important factor there ;) *Makes doing what I do with my off-road toys legitimate and makes the next mod easier to slide past her  :

*Sorry about the flash burn on the shift knob, try as I might I just couldn't get rid of it..

The pto winch set up i got off a 55 here in Aus has those markings on the shift knob. but the shifter itself is totally different. That one looks like it bolts to the trans hump, probably Because all the late 4 and 5 spds i have seen don't have the hole for the pivot pin to screw into. Does that make any sense at all

Ummm....

From Andy, the bloke who started this thread...

Just a thought.

On another note, FYI, the 62's vac-assisted t-case shifter knob is IDENTICAL to the 4-speed shifter knob except for the metal cap decal insert.

You can make me a special knob?...

I have a PTO shifter connected to a Toyota Electric winch, to selec Free Spool or
Lock Spool.
The PTO shifter use a metric M8 thread size.

Using your picture, I made this drawing, exactly what I need, same OEM engraving colour (metallic grey).
