My wife thinks I am nuts, but between 45 Series and 75 Series; just like potato chips one is not enough. Bought this little beauty, haven't had any time to play with it yet and still up in the air for plans for it....but just had to have it:

nice... soft top too!

Scott, you little bugger! Tried to buy that rig too! But you beat me to it! Factory 1977 soft top! Looked like it was in great shape. Another rare one! No more gumtree for you!!!

I didn't find it on Gumtree so there! My sources are top secret. Just got notice that another 45 has landed. For some reason my attempt to thin the herd hasn't been working. I keep selling rigs, but then I end up buying two to replace the one I have sold.

I remember looking at the add for this on Gumtree and thought it was an incredibly clean looking troopy.

The bull bar is very similar in design to the aluminium one I took off my 45, so it may not be as heavy as it looks.

Nice troopy ! Congrats !

Now I had this follow me home.... It has a secret under the hood. There is some rust in the cab but I think I might have some parts just lying around that could help. Let me look around to see what I trip over.

Aussie truck would probably be a 12H-T and 5 cogger?

Or an Aussie 308 V8, or a Holden 5.0L. Lots of popular Australian swaps.

So far all wrong guesses. Here is a little clue:

Yep, that's definitely a 1HZ manifold shroud.

1hz turbo!

Yes Whitey had the 1st correct answer.
So I was looking around my yard for something to do about the rust in the cab and I found a pile of parts I have had laying around for several years. I think they might work. Now I just need a little magic to create some spare time!
