Love the trailer and watched as you built on Expo.
It functions great looks awesome with the matching wheels and height
and is stealth. No one would know it is a camper until you open her up.
Excellent work!

So this was my idea for stabilizers for the rear of the trailer. After the first outing, they proved to be too much work to get the trailer level.

So I cut them off and added these. They have a pin you pull to drop the leg, reinsert the pin and then use the crank to level the trailer. Much easier and I can get to level at a much lower floor height. I am able to pull into camp, blow the air out of the air bags and then go from there. Kitchen counter height was determined by the top of the ARB 50. Wife is a little short, so I need to be as low as possible.

Nice work! Hey is that stabilizer a stock item somewhere, or did you make that? I am in need of something else for my camper, and those would work perfect (currently using jack stands... :hillbilly: )

And nice work on the trailer!

Here is where I get most of my steel: http://www.pattonscorp.com/catalog/
But for the life of me, I can't remember what it is called. I wish you were closer, you could have what removed.

Wow, truly one of the neatest conversions I've seen. Always thought that this would be the easiest of ideas but couldn't think it out. You seem to have managed with flying colours! A modern teardrop, I thank you now as I'm going to steal some of your ideas!!

Steal away my friend! Thanks for the nice words.
Let me know if you have any questions. There are even a couple things I will do different next time.

And here we go!

And we are off to the desert. First time towing with the LC. Just changed the wheels out to match the LC. What a pain that was.

Very nice. I plan on getting a trailer for tailgating so I don't have to load/unload crap every Saturday and have been really intrigued by the teardrops. I love the built in kitchen in the back but the storage concerned me. This might just be the ticket--best of both worlds!

I your combo at the D.R. and I wish I could of stopped by. It was the first of many men's trip w/a 3 & 5 year old. You got some great ideas going there, very cool!

Thank you very much. I thought SCDR was a little too spread out. I too was not able to make the rounds and say hi to everyone. Who would have thought it was going to be that hot?

Thanks again.

Jeff
