The fleet (12 blue machines) is back up and running. Screencap from live feed @ twitch.tv/baothebuilder

Cool.

Cool.
Thank you sir. My other box of screws finally got here today (delayed) and that’s my bottleneck at the moment.

This will allow me to make some progress until the China screws get here; then things will really get going.

Also, those who peek the stream likely know this, but current batch going very well!

While the machines work on the live feed, I am usually in the background working on assembly, repairs, software and etc. I am trying to add more machines to speed things up.

The Zonestar Z9 has joined to assist; currently running a test print with 3mm and big nozzle on 45 parts.

Also, when Big Girls fender flares are done I will also add the GEEETECH into the mix. I put an1:8 scale fender flare on there for size reference. Big Girl is 1:4 scale.

Also have 2 Vorons (will be my best machines) I am building for @TeCKis300 ‘s cup holders/enclosed ABS, that I really need to stop putting off. After cup holders the Voron 2.4 (red) and Trident (green) will work on detail kits.

FYI there are 6 machines making blue.

I’ll start with the bad news:

The green batches failed, rerunning them @Hiluxforever.

One set of blue door failed but i hesitated on throwing it into the bin, I’ll likely plastic weld and paint it later for basher kit.

One of the machine making red copper and green are down; I need to figure out why my hotend keeps clogging/maybe bad heat breaks. Next month when I have extra cash ($50 per pro hotend), I will upgrade them to all metal hotends to greatly reduce this issue, and also to allow us to print carbon fiber nylon, polycarbonate, carbon fiber abs and other high temp materials; gears and shafts in polycarbonate will be amazing and an option in future kits, as well as carbon fiber nylon suspension parts (for flex but also amazing strength, both rigidity and tensile strength).

Anyways, onto the good news:

2 sets of blue door panels
Front frame/hood
Another blue glasses
More blue fender flares
Red copper fender flares
Red door panels
I snapped the red copper glasses trying to remove too early/before bed cooled; spare parts pile now.

Fingers crossed on the red and red copper glasses/fender flares, both at 94% completion.

After my 3mm is tuned: the polycarbonate gears will be marked as blue. I am well stocked on filament and just awaiting printer parts for the high temp materials, as well as more machines.

Speaking of which, today’s stream will be prints going in background while I slowly build more printers. Boring stuff I know, but hang in there!

One thing we haven’t discussed, over the week I decided i need to keep the ready to run kits here while awaiting parts. However, for the diy kits for those who want to build their own (remember i can build for you, both versions), I am waiting on just fasteners for you. You really can’t do much without them anyways.

The question is, do you DIYers want to build the basher, or do you want to build the display one? The basher kit is mostly petg and PLA plus, which makes it more forgiving on mistakes with the drill or cracking/snapping parts during assembly. It’s 500 fasteners so I don’t blame anyone for making a couple mistakes here and there; just as I did/will continue to make.

Ideally shipping it off each kit in one package to save on cost will be best, after all parts including electronics get here. I am actively working on a bundle deal for electronics this week.

Also, 3mm opens up a lot of other color options which we will get to later.

I am ok with waiting on shipment and building mine.

I’d rather build mine and particularly the nice one.

Another option is maybe you can build both! I can send contents to get started on basher kit assembly, the portion that ships with fasteners and my printed portion, and you can use that as practice build. Then I’ll send off the display kit later as that takes more time to get right; there will even be occasions where I send you a part and let you make the call, and if unworthy it becomes a spare and I’ll work on something better.

When building display version you want to be well awake and meticulous, and you’ll want the experience from the basher build.

I am also good with that, too.

Just aware you have sunk costs, and shipping twice is more expensive.

That being said, it would clear up working space. So pros and cons to everything.

I figured there will be losses during the testing and learning process; if I even come close to breaking even this year I’d be a happy little Asian man (not that I identify myself as anything other than a part of the human race).

Startups are not easy; luckily I am blessed and have help! My parents are helping me with shipping while I am learning to walk.

With that said, I very much appreciate the thought and concern!

I figured learn to make it right first, and the rest will fall into place with time.

Sunglasses Lens for your glasses are coming.

Also, I am trying to get organized while building the Voron, and while keeping the boys printing along in background. I am the camera man as well.

Just another beautiful day in the world of making tiny car parts.

Update on Trident I am building for Mud/Tecks diy abs cup holders for the 200. After caught up on cup holders it will move over to FJ parts.

I plan on building another after for this thread as well. This is what we will use to really nail the little details, in addition to me picking up 1 SLA printer next month.

I can already see the beautiful parts that will come out of this; still about a week left on build.

Just remember on those bezels, “thick side up”! You don’t want the bezel police to shut you down.
