does it seem like there are lots of trees down? i am waiting to hear if i have to go help clean up.

Lost power a couple of hours ago, but otherwise I think it's done. Radar is clear. Generator is keeping the Internet and TV going, so whatever. I have plenty of gas, food, and beer.

Listening to the ARES net, very few places have power now.

UNH canceled the first day of classes tomorrow. Seems like an over-reaction to me.

Still no power as of 3pm for me. Using my ARB fridge to keep my food and water cold.

Just walked the dog like a fool. Wind pushed me around and a 10 inch branch went down 20 ft from me. Stupid.

wow. Vermont got a lot of rain.

Not too much damage around here except for some branchs out of the trees. I was watching channel 12 and saw that a tree went down at my grandparents tenants house. Crushed the tenants car. Call my grandfather to find out it was a neighbors tree and the only damage was the car. Nobody was hurt.

Sara and I went up to Rutland yesterday for dinner and a movie. Over Okemo going up, over Killington coming back. Looks like half the roads we traveled yesterday are flooded or closed now.

Pictures of Woodstock VT are crazy, half the town underwater. Cars in the Woodstock Inn parking lot flooded almost to their roofs. Bennington underwater, Brattleboro underwater, evacuating Middlebury... it's nuts.

The Quechee Covered Bridge is gone.

The Bartonsville Covered Bridge is gone.

Lots more as well... worst Vermont flooding in 100 years, hope Wally and the Bennington crew are safe.

Legend says Wally can hold back flood waters with just a stare.

This is the only photo I could find from Bennington, VT area....Roaring Branch River in Bennington

Not good...
