How to safely store your brake fluid for a while?

'Round here the county recycle program has waste oil and waste antifreeze drop-off sites. Used brake fluid goes in the waste oil far as I'm concerned. Since brake fluid burns nicely I see no issue with that.

Brake fluid is much closer to antifreeze than oil in chemical composition.

Our local municipality will not allow brake fluid in waste oil at the recycle centers. They are separated here. You will get your ass chewed out if you try and mix them here, as they will then have to separate the contaminated waste oil for disposal.

Burning brake fluid makes GOBS and GOBS of smoke. It is very similar to the fluid we used to use in our fog machines when I was running a haunted attraction years ago. Nothing like oil.
