Hi all.
I am looking to remove the front bumper. In the picture attached, what procedure do I use to remove it? I would like to remove it as a unit, not take it a part if possible.

Thanks

take out bolts labeled 39 on the front bumper stay

thats it

To remove the front bumper just un-bolt the bumper stay brackets (left & right side - 2 or 3 bolts each) from the frame horns.

This will allow the entire front bumper assembly including the bumper extensions and their brackets to be removed in one piece.

Have a 2nd person avaliable to catch the bumper as you un-bolt it so it doesn't fall in your lap or on the floor and get damaged.:D

This shouldn't take more than 15 minutes since there are no wires to disconnect or other attachment points.

I bought a bumper for my LX450 from Romer (thanks again Romer!)and had it installed in 30-45minutes but had to assemble the new bumper before installing it.

The only tools you should need are a ratchet, socket and maybe combination wrench for the bolts - i think they were 15mm or 17mm.

BTW the side rail extensions just hang on the frame, you'll see when you get it apart - good luck!!

Rope. Tree. Reverse. Done.

Just kidding, though gentle use this method can do wonders for a bumper that is mildly tweaked.

YMMV

Its easy to do. Crawl under there and you can see what needs to be unbolted from the frame. I did it by myself with no problems at all.
