I was able to wire up a switch to an ebay fan that helps but hasn't completely fixed the issue.

Top up the refrigerant with a dye in it and trace where the leak is (if there is), usually at the expansion valve, lines, condenser - there’s a lot of YouTube videos that would guide you how to this, super easy. Check the compressor clutch if it’s even engaging, it won’t if the plates are loose. Check your evaporator as well for refrigerant leaks when you put in the refrigerant dye. Clean your evaporator.

It is where shops make a killing when they diagnose problems incorrectly. Diagnose it first then if the task is too much for you then have them do it.

I once had an AC line rusted out. Any shop can diagnose if the system holds pressure. So refrigerant was entirely out. Replaced the line and it's biting cold for 3 years already.

Bump an old post here to see if your doing a run on the kits I found the fan online and ordered one so just looking for brackets and switches but at this point I'll take the entire kit or part numbers and mounting brackets only lol. I'm out here in phoenix do you have a referral to a shop that's done some of these?

All parts can be sourced at your local Oreily and/or Home Depot. I am in the middle of assembling it all together. Finished with the wiring and rocker yesterday. Someday will get to the fan itself if am not too lazy :) Attaching rocker, ring terminals, pigtail (10 amp fuse included), wires (I used 14 awg, 16 will do too), and hose (for bushings).

Please note there is GB rocker in the picks, it did not work for me. Ended up with Doorman at the last pic.

UPD:

Forgot about female 16-14 awg terminals like this:

You'll need 5 of them (2 fan, 3 switch)
