Absolutely fuming mad, but in short someone sprayed Febreze into my truck, some landed on the plastic in front of the gauge cluster and it is now etched. I’ve tried using cleaners and nothing will remove it. So I need to replace it.

Are there any videos or instructions on how I can remove and replace that piece? I’ve done it on my old FJ80, a 2019 is another animal though.

Thanks guys!

I’m not aware of a how-to but the part number for a 2019 cruiser is 83852-6AV20

If you do end up doing the job please document and post. That would be good tech to have here on the board.

Hey there! It's frustrating when accidents happen. o_OTo replace the gauge cluster plastic, you'll typically need to start by removing the dashboard trim. Look for screws or clips holding it in place. Then, gently pry the trim piece off with a plastic trim tool to avoid damage. Once that's done, you should have better access to the gauge cluster area. Check YouTube for tutorials specific to your truck's make and model. Take your time and follow the steps carefully. Good luck with the replacement, and if you run into any snags, don't hesitate to ask for help. Hope that helps!

Did you try Meguiars PlastX and a buffing pad? Does pretty well on foggy headlights.
I tried something similar. Moral of the story, don’t spray any chemicals on that plastic. It etches very easily!
