Was just given an 80 series to rebuild...current mileage is 460,xxx and still runs smooth-ish!

213k

Change synthetic oil 1x a year (I only put on about 5k a year)

I stay up to date on all PM.

Just took it on a 13hr road trip....did great!

Previous owner was owner of Lexus dealership and rebuilt it at 40K miles. He said his wife drove it and allowed it to go way over normal oil change interval so he did some rebuilding work. Not exactly sure how much. So the last 360K miles has had nothing done to engine or tranny....not even changed tranny fluid. Nice and clean. I do need to replace valve cover gasket, however.

271,538. Runs like a top. This month: OEM rotors and pads (front), OEM brake booster, fresh t-case Fluid, fresh front and rear diff oil, and brand new chromoly birfs and shafts.

I've completed a HG job at 173K, and my '93 is running great. The cross hatching of the cylinder honing was still evident on the cylinders! I'd heard this about other Toyotas with mileage over 100K, but I was pretty impressed to see it on mine.

1994 at 125xxx now. Previous owner took good care of it, but so far only major thing I've had to replace is the Passenger side birf, and going to have to do a rear transfer case output seal soon. Picture is from a month or two ago.
