I've been underwhelmed by mine as well; if it ever goes out I am not going to make an effort to fix it. And I'm fixing to put a front bumper on that may disable it anyway, I don't really think it will be much of a loss.

It was only an option on LXs from '03-'06 I believe. Never offered on the Land Cruiser. The windshield is EXPENSIVE to replace: like, $1800 expensive if I recall.
Yeah, for the same reason I recommend cutting off your ears too since when they break, hearing aids are expensive!It sounds like we should avoid it at cost, and that consequently the market value of any LX so equipped should be basically nil.

High end luxury cars are adopting advanced night vision technology. Both Rolls Royce as well as high trim level Mercedes have it. This is from a Rolls Royce GhostNow that would be cool. Is similar technology used in any production cars these days? I'd like to see how the tech has matured.
