This truck is for wheeling. I go to the mall less times per year than to the trails.
Do people still go to malls?

Exactly!Do people still go to malls?
If it’s hilly while on cruise control I use 5th gear. I have 6 speed and it helps with MOGJust for grins, sometimes cruise control can hurt your mileage.
Replace one thing at a time. That way you know what was wrongThanks! I just ordered a new PCV valve.
Wondering if I should go ahead and replace all 3 of these oxygen sensors, or just the downstream, or maybe wait and see if the new PCV valve helps:

Thankfully, I don’t have to daily this beast.Lord those numbers are hard to stomach lol. That said, I am not surprised by single digit fuel economy if a fully built 200 is towing anything over 3K pounds.
Now I’m jealous. An update with the new PCV valve installed- the mileage is better. Not great, but a lot better.
With the ARB bull bar, 275/70r18 K02 tires (33", 59lbs), and the Yakima Megawarrior roof basket on for hauling a couple duffle bags up top- I ended up at 13-14mpg in stop and go highway traffic at speeds between 45-70 over about 80 miles today. Amazingly, 14mpg is a 55% improvement over the 9mpg I was seeing with the old PCV valve (175k miles). I'll do O2 sensors next to see if it further improves the mileage.

Lowering itself on the freeway would definitely help. Larger wheels.. maybe? The LX seems to do better on MPG bone stock. I never saw much over 17mpg back when I was stock. Better aero maybe?
would you happen to have the part numbers for these two sensors for a 2009. I assume they are probably the same but don't want to order the wrong oneThere should be 4 sensors total, and you'll only really need the 2 primary upstream sensors as those are the ones responsible for closed loop fueling. Bank 1 Sensor 1, and Bank 2 Sensor 1. Don't worry about the secondary sensors in each bank as they're more for emissions.
O2 sensors slow down in response as they age. While still above the threshold of a diagnostic CEL, they'll affect closed loop fueling and efficiency. I plan to change mine at about 150k.
For a cheaper option, for those that don't mind splicing wiring, you can buy name brand Denso's with flying leads. Splice the new sensor to the harness of the existing sensor.

Grab you VIN and check partsouq.com. While they probably haven't changed I have seen part numbers change mid-year so for anything important I'd always double check against your specific vehiclewould you happen to have the part numbers for these two sensors for a 2009. I assume they are probably the same but don't want to order the wrong one![]()
Same as post 222.I get 20 HWY, between 70-80. I was shocked the first trip I took. Bone stock. A pleasant surprise.
