Hood Pad picture

I've never seen this piece in person, does someone have a picture they can post up? And how does it attach? It Item #40 in this SOR diagram.

I don't have a pic, but i have managed to lose two of them. It's a tiny white rubber bumper. If i recall it's only about an inch and a half wide. If I get another one I'll be gluing it to the gutter.

Items 40 & 41 are two small black rubber pads that go on each end of item 80 where it attaches to the sides of the hardtop. They are held in place with little press-pins and I bought them at the dealer back in '00 or '01. Pretty much unnecessary, IME but if one is going for the detail, go for it!

I think RL is talking about item 49 and this keeps the hood from getting marks from the rain gutter while in the raised position. A little 3M plastic emblem adhesive and it'll be there for a long time.

Yep, needs to be glued for sure. SOR has them.

Sorry to confuse everyone - I did mean Item #49...the hood pad. Not Item #40.

Thanks for the input, I'll order one and use some of the 3m Adhesive I got with my CCOT order.
