Megamat is fantastic. I have never slept better on an inflatable mattress. I have tried many.

Yes they are that good. We have a megamat 10 and four 7.5’s. My wife takes a 10 on deployments, taking something that nice is unheard of. She dosnt care if she loses it or leaves it behind. It’s hard to put a price on good sleep.

Even compressed and in its stuff sack it is big....but worth it. It is basically half a queen size mattress. No way two a fitting in between the fender wells of the 80, unless you have a sleeping platform/drawers

I've had 3 Megamat singles for about 7 years now. Like everyone says, very comfortable. The high R-Value is awesome too. I blew a seam once... probably due to kids. Repaired it with included kit and has been fine for years.
Downsides are large pack size. Deflation could be faster (on old valves... not sure about newer model). I also use an electric pump for inflation. The manual pump works but takes quite some time. I've considered switching to the synmats to reduced pack size.

After years of ownership, it was recently pointed out to me to use the little attached valve jam on the inflation port to make deflation faster. My mind was blown...
If you are who I think you are, it was your wife who pointed it out to me.

Ahh, correct! And yes, she's usually the one inflating and deflating the mats. I have removed the flapper from one of the valves and it deflates faster now.
I feel like I've asked you this before, but what combo of megamats are you using to match the width/length of the pop top when you and your wife are both camping?

She tells me - Im not crawling down a ladder to pee - I dont argue and say what a cool tent.

They are amazing. I've had one for a year that I've used for both tent camping and sleeping in the back of my 80 series. Perfect size for the back of the LC if you have a sleeping platform and leveled 2nd row seats. I don't have much use for it now since getting a roof top tent, so if you want it I'll give you a good deal.
