Long time, no update. My brother, @Hokie LX, has inspired me with his build thread so I figured I’d get back in here.

I passed the 80 series along to its new owner so this is the only truck in the stable again. The FJ62 has been on daily duty for the last few years with some basic maintenance and prep for before and after SAS5.

We took the truck to Colorado for SAS and it did great. Photo dump below

I have since removed the front runner roof rack and CVT tent in favor of a lighter sleep setup since 95% of the time it’s only me in the truck camping.

Most recently, I did a quick swap of my rusting battery tray with a stainless tray from stainlesstrays.com

This was a really easy job and a good upgrade from my stock tray. Well fitting and complete kit.

Also - if anyone has a recommendation about securing the rear quarter land cruiser badges, I'm all ears. I've got two extra sets, but the right one keeps falling out as you can see in the photos above.

I use two-sided foam tape. Works great.
