Issues being that I can't seem to thread the flared end.... maybe I'm being too gentle?.... but it seems like it won't go easily while the OEM threads you can almost twist in by hand. I've already ordered a Gates #365550 to try... hopefully it will go in easier and if not then I'll have a hydraulics place make one. Was just wondering if any one else has had issues with the Napa hose fitment?

Thanks,
William

look at the ends of you oem part and the napa part, sometimes on aftermarket hoses that i have seen the threaded part did not look like it was finished all the way,i've had to take a small file and finish it to get it to start.
check for burrs, trash on the end also.
sometimes it doesn't take much

Good chance that the Gates and Napa parts are exactly the same part. The pump and box rebuild kits have the p/n for Napa, Gates, Beck Arnley, and others all listed on the plastic bag that comes inside the Private Label parts box.

I was able to install a Napa replacement with no issue, but I didn't last long. Went and bought OEM (yes a lot more expensive) and has been fine for years
