Running M1 high mileage 5w-30, I get 16 - 17 mpg on the freeway in NY on 89 octane. Went about 330-340 miles before filling with about 19 gallons.

I run 5w-40 and I've been told I have my crankcase overfilled by 3qts.

I run the same and get 13 mpg in the highway, 10 in the city. Not a lot, but I enjoy every single one of them.

You have to change the oil? ;-)

You have to change the oil? ;)

I do in my LX.

But I could probably just keep adding oil to my 80 series and change the filter now and then, it has so many leaks now. ;)

I’ve heard some good things about Valvoline Restore and Protect. Anyone familiar with this oil and Is it going to swell seals up like high mileage oil does?
