High Milage 62- what should I look into?

I didnt find the leak until i pulled the coil out, never noticed it before. Mine seemed to get worse as it warmed also. Another typical culprit can be the coolant temp sensor, it has an influence on the efi. I believe its the green sensor under the top rad hose on the thermostat housing.

I'll have to consider this- but everything works as it should until it warms up to a specified temp, then the idle drops low- and it is consistent, so I don't think it is spark. I was hoping someone had the exact issue so I could start at the right component.

FSM has electrical test for IAC, as I recall.

IAC removed and cleaned. Was fine. Cold start injector was very dirty and the ports seemed to be clogged so a new one is ordered (should make cold start faster). Looks like Fuel Pressure Regulator is next suspect- and on order. Others that have had same issue indicate it was the problem.

I realized I didn't follow up on this. It ended up being the one fusible link from the alternator/ignition and poor grounding. Runs like new.. Oh wait...it really almost is. The detailed refresh is almost complete. Will show it off soon.

Wow. That is without a doubt the nicest 60 Series on MUD and probably anywhere in the world. White FJ62s are one of my favorite Cruisers of all. I thought you were gonna tell us the story of where and how you found it and bought it? Please! And please tell me you aren't going to change a thing about it except tires! I would have probably slept in it the first week I got it!
