Does anyone use a high beam piggy back adapter for front spot/flood lights? I’d like to install floods on my front bumper, with an OEM style switch near left knee. So that when the switch is turned ‘on’ the floods will turn on and off with the high beams. But, if only highway driving, it can be disabled simply by turning it off using the OEM style switch.

I believe this product will achieve my goal, but I’m not 100%

Anyone know of a US based supplier? Looking to install asap.

not US-based, but Stedi also sells an adapter.

I have one that I never used, my friend just hardwired it and didn’t end up needing it. If someone wants it lmk I can send it asap.

I have this set up just like you describe. Use a fuse tap to tap the high beam fuse in the engine bay fuse block behind the battery. Run the wire from the fuse tap to your switch and the switch's on wire to the relay for the lights. Wire the relay to the battery (with a fuse). Now, when you turn the switch on without the high beams nothing will happen. Turn the high beams on with the switch off and nothing will happen. Turn the high beams on with the switch on and your light bar will turn on.

Update: I ordered and installed the 2016+ LC piggy back connector from Supernova and it works flawlessly. The only hassle was getting the high-beam connector unplugged to begin with! I found that sliding the whole connector harness off it's mount allowed me to then much easier disconnect from underneath due to the tight angles (I run a bullbar and didn't want to have to mess with it).

I compared pricing between Supernova (Australia) and Stedi UK who both ship to the US and Supernova was much cheaper ($27 total) than Stedi UK ($81 total) when shipping to California (screenshots attached).

Here is the wiring loom that came with my new Stedi Type-X spots with the new piggyback adapter highlighted. Didn't have to mess with tapping, plug and play:
