Hey. I do classic cars of all types and I'm working on an FJ and found you. Big story behind the FJ. Bought about 6 years ago as a rusting bucket. Taken apart, two years to paint, came home in pieces, all of them. It showed up in my shop to be assembled, rewired, stereo'd, hopefully all the way to running. Be there soon. I'm going to load one picture of how it arrived, and another of where it sits today. Of course, they come out in reverse order.

I run an itty bitty business in Denver that just works on classics (Old cars and trucks). Engineer for 40 years with a severe car hobby, now this for 12 years. Today, we're working on toyota. Hmm, my last 2 jobs were a 4runner and a tundra. For friends. I bought a AE86 off the showroom floor in 1985.

Welcome to the site. Looks great. You've been busy. We're still waiting for the b4 pic. You have a FJ40 or a 40. Typically FJs are considered something else. As for the bezel flip, look at yours, then look at the pic below.

That 40 has come a long way. In your b4 pic, the headlight bezel is in the correct orientation along with my pic. I was trying to be clever. The fat side is supposed to be on top. Yours is upside-down.

Frickin-A-Awesome Dude and the Dune Beige…..Uber correct! And you might want to stop calling it an ‘FJ’. Most of us here on Mud in the 40/45 chat are pretty sensitive to that. ‘FJs’ are nothing more than a re-bodied 4-Runner and they have their own forum(s). This forum is for the original ‘Old’ iron, the real deal….Land Crusher! And believe me, you will be corrected if it isn’t true to form….

Again, awesome rig…..

When you fly the flag upside down its a symbol of distress. Maybe people are thinking Toyota has lost their way.

You can get patch panels for the rear quarter wheel well if you don't plan to use flares
