Help with New Starter for FJ45

So I'm going to replace the starter on my '84 FJ45 Troopy. Beyond just trying to match it up visually, does anyone have a secret to knowing exactly which starter this is (pictures attached)?

I'm going to try and source it from the typical places online unless someone has a great alternative suggestion/recommendation.

Have you looked into rebuilding it?

Those were used since the mid sixties or real close. The earlier ones are hard to find. Guessing about any place Napa would have a close match. Personally I would go with a gear reduction unless your looking to keep it 100% stock then see if you can get it rebuilt.

wouldn't an 84 have had a gear reduction starter to begin with?

most likely someone has changed it out already.
