Guys, need some help with these 3FE front main bolts. Can't get a socket on them at all, can't get a good bite with a wrench. Do I need to go buy a crows foot? The cap gets in the way. They're monster tight and my open end wrench just bends and loses bite.

Socket and a grinder, get that OD down just enough to slip in. Or closed end wrench and a grinder
Got it down enough to jam on there. She broke, ha ha. There no way to machine down a socket enough. Maybe I need to try to find a thin dog bone.

you should not have to do anything special or buy any special tools for this. is it just the old gasket in the way?

Yup! I'm really dumb. Gotta get better lighting in the garage. That old factory gasket was so hard and discolored I couldn't tell the difference. And I shouldve put on some glasses. Thanks.
