help smog pump issue (real time)

Last night my smog pump started to squeal real loud. I think it's about to freeze up on me. I'm away from home on a job in Roswell NM. the soonest I can get a pump is Tuesday. any suggestions on how I can get the rig going again sooner. I'm kinda stuck in a motell room right now afraid to drive any more.

Do you have AC? Some say the belt to the AC compressor will fit from crank pulley to water pump for getting you home.

yea this is going to be my last resort its well over 100 here today and I'm not happy about losing the ac. I'm hoping for another fix

How about picking up another AC belt? Gets you home (with AC - I'd want it there too!) and you end up with a spare when you later deal with your pump.

Hey!!! now why did I not think of that. I can live with out power steering for a few days. but down here that AC is a god send.
