Anyone in the ashboro area with a winch available to help me out. Managed to get myself pretty stuck. Tried pulling it out with another locked 80 but no luck. I need a winch out. Please message me or call.

Thanks guys.

I know I'm late, but if you still need help tomorrow afternoon, I can come out and lend a hand

Thanks Johnny. I think Ryan is heading out in the AM to help out. Will let you know if we need more. Bright side is now I get the green light for a winch. Lol. When I get time I'll post pics and a full story. Lol

Not intended to kick a guy when he's down but be sure to get some pics (now that it's daylight)!

And the Rhino is free. Thanks to all those that offered to help. No damage to the ole girl. Now John and Eric have another version. John has a cracked fender flare and Eric broke the PS mirror and dented his bumper end. Giddy up. For the record I am not trusting Shan's judgment on lines EVER AGAIN. Lmao. It was a blast though and all is well.

That's the strangest looking mall parking lot I've ever seen

Caption for photo with hand in pocket "Stacy relying countdown from Shan to Eric R." It looks like a "I can't believe he did this and I'm pissed" photo, but it was NOT.

The location of the stuck doesn't really look too bad, but the DSR tire was held back by a 5" diameter root that had been cut flush with the bank and at enough of an angle that the tire couldn't catch a grip. The tire dug down pretty easily as it spun, preventing any attempt at reversing to gain a new path.

Neither of the other 2 trucks could tug it out last night. We tried again this morning, once it was good and icy and cold, with both trucks together and again failed. Success happened when we lifted the DS by the slider and put the 3 logs under it. It bought us a better approach at the bank root and maybe acted as rollers as we drug until his tires hooked up.

Last night it was just a wet, muddy mess. This morning the mud was frozen and the water had iced enough to stand on. Shovels and hatchets made short work of the ice. At least it wasn't raining. We might have unstuck it last night if at least one of us had some flood lights on his roof - it was a little tight weaving the second truck between the trees even in daylight. Yes, that's right, we went out in the dark to a place we'd never been that was a bit...well, let's call it 'tightly forested and wet'...with little more than hope and perseverance to guide us. BUT, when your host asks 3 guys with LC's "You guys go out on the trails off the driveway yet?" you kinda have to go see what that's all about.
