Scott,
just a suggestion, if you gonna own an FJ40 learn to do the basics yourself. there is a world of information on this website.
You will get frustrated with trying to get someone else to really care about your 40.
It is old school technology so find an old shop that knows how to work on a carbed motor.
good luck
Gary

x2 but you also might want to post in the Dixieland Forum. I don't know of anyone local - if you really need to take it to a shop your best bet would be to haul it over to ACC in Atlanta.

what bhammapping said.
I had Dimitri at Zetta Corp (in homewood) do a lot of the work on mine, he helped me get the motor pulled and rebuilt, lift and a lot of the more straightforward stuff- he's very reasonably priced. But in the end I hauled her over to ACC to get things dialed in right. Michael at ACC opened the hood and was able to diagnose half my problems with a simple visual check. They REALLY know their stuff.
