Help! 8274 Part Needed (1 Viewer)

I finally torn down the 8274 that was on my truck when I bought it. I had a post some time ago about it not freewheeling in and not powering out. Poser and others advised that the brake was likely frozen. When I took the brake out I also found that the motor pinion gear is messed up ( see picture below).. All other gears are good. I called Warn and they told me this old style gear has been discontinued and the only fix is a new design motor to the tune of about $400. Also the brake kit is about $100 which I expected. Cant spend that kind of money. Is it possible that anyone would have the gear I need? The old Warn part no. is 9054. Only need the gear shown in the picture. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Just buy the new style gear (20 spline) and use it with a new (splined shaft motor).

The gear runs about $25.00 and the motor about $110.00 shipped.

John Witt at the Four Wheel Drive Center of Minnesota, the only guy still producing components for the old Bellview winch, had this gear made.


For any old Bellview parts, or this obsolete gear, he is your guy.
