My heater hose is leaking at the T right off the coolant bypass line to the heater core. I was able to find the part number for the assembly that replaces the T and hoses. That is 87209-60290 for anyone else that may need it.

I wanted to be proactive and replace the hose that attaches to the bottom of the T. Took a little research, but I found that it is connected to entire assembly Toyota wants you to buy. Such a bummer when only a piece of rubber could be bad. Mine isn't leaking, but wanted to replace to be safe while it was apart.
  1. Has anyone found a replacement for this from Napa or another autoparts store?
  2. Additionally, I only noticed this leak after I started using my heater which hasn't been used in a very long time. If I don't run my heater do you think this won't leak as much?
  3. Does this 90 run to support the rear heater? Perhaps I can bypass this if I am not using the rear heater?
Thanks everyone! Have a great holiday this week!
