Head plug size (1 Viewer)

My ‘74 has the second emissions temp sender toward the center of the head. I’m fully desmogged, so while I’m cleaning up some stuff I’d like to remove the second temp sender and replace it with a plug. I know it’ll be BSPT threads. But can anyone verify the size? I’ve searched but want to make sure get the correct thing.

Of course. Clockwise to tighten as well.

Of course. Clockwise to tighten as well.

Just to clarify - sealant is OK if there is no sensor. If there is a sensor - then NO. Sensor needs to ground to motor.

Just in case this helps someone in the future that above plug seems to work fine. It doesn’t have a lot of threads engaged, but neither did the old fitting.
