Good Morning everyone
Here's a picture of my 1F engine that I been working for a few months. Between waiting for the parts to arrive from the USA and finding parts here in Ecuador it's taking a long time to finish this project. However I'm having fun and I'm learning so much.

I'm ready to put the head now. The head has been resurfaced and my cousin is ready to help me to put the engine together. However i do have a problem and again I need your advice.

When my cousin and I took the engine apart we both were rushing (and drinking beer) and we never put the engine at the TDC and we realized that when we took the head off. so after replacing all the gaskest the pistons has moved and now the bottom of the engine and the head needs to be synchronized.

Can some one advice me to a simple way to do set the heat at TDC.

Thanks
Willian D

The head does not care where the crank is. The cam is what you have to worry about. When you drop the push rods into the lifter, install the rocker shafts the valves will open. They will remain closed as long as the push rods and the rockers are off the engine.
