Has Anyone Been to the Salt River Canyon Wilderness Area?

the smallest thing I work with is about 40 acres.

I have the Battle Axe listed (9 miles S of Superior) but it's a cattle operation then most of our stuff is south of the Gila River.

in Sonora, we have ranches from 2,700 acres up to 24,700 all deeded 100% ownership ($85,000 and up), farms from $350,000, and speculative dirt for $225,000 (5,000 acres 2 miles north of Kino Bay) or a 7,500 beach front development project for $75 million.

sorry, no 1 acre lots

Wife and I were up at the Salt and a little north starting on the Cherry Creek road. Large section at the beginning was under construction; area just past the bridge shown in photo. I have hunted Javelina in the Cherry Creek area. Lots of Javelina in this area. The winter rains should have given a large shot in the arm (pun intended) to the wildlife.

Wanna turn one into a dedicated OHV park? Club owned? :D

You don't know how down for this I am. It's kinda been a dream for me over the last few years to buy about 1k acres up in northern AZ to turn into a wheeling ranch. Unfortunately I just don't have that kind of capitol at this juncture in my life. Sure would be sweet though.

Sorry for the hijack Lee.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

We were out there end of March - the bloom was on big time. Traveled cherry creek rd close to the wilderness border, then back-tracked and headed to the backside of Roosevelt lake FS60 ( I think it was) Got to use the snorkel crossing the river onto 188. Water up and over the hood - what fun!
