but gilmer is not happening for me, so you want bring your boys out the Spring creek sunday and wheel?

Stick 'er on yer hood so ya look like a Rover....

NOT.

I don't think that's too much but what to I know. All I can say is I've seen well loaded roof racks on rigs doing some crazy shiz and they were fine, but then again you always want to keep that center of G as low as you can... somebody with a physics degree wanna calculate how much the center of gravity moves up when you put a spare from the rear carrier to the top on a 2 ton vehicle? I didn't think so....

Ok yeah I've had a few. Nice pix.

come on, thats not a good excuse there.... its heavy? no s*** its heavy :flipoff2:

my cruisah doesnt have doors, a hardtop or a soft top for that matter!

what dose a 39" bogger weigh with rim 150#?

push your cruiser around side to from the top of the cage, then try to do it from the bed,

yes it makes a huge difference

do what ever you want.

hey man, hows the cage coming???

you still alive dude?

gawd damn! im a a slacker!!!!

ok so i said to myself " self, this damn cruiser aint fixing its self, so WTF havent you been doing anything to it?!?!"

so i have now kinda gotten a little wind under my sails to get the cruiser going again. the cheap truck challenge did take up resources and time. thats cool, but no more neglecting my rides.... and im dissapointed i havent been kicked in teh ass by you guys to get my crap going  so off with some pics.

i bought 100' more of tube on saterday, and got to making the rest of my cage. i dont think i needed 100', but oh well
i made b pillar spreaders here. i think im going to wait untill my seats are in, before i installed the vertical spreader for my seatbelt harnesses. i want to make sure the hight is correct for the belt so i dont incorrectly install them and hurt my self if i get in a wreck or whatever. on the subject, do you think i should use wrap around or bolt in harnesses?

i made these B to C pillar spreaders. the Wicked Fab cage i got had to be really modified in order to fit my rig, due to the fender height. no biggie, its custom now
i was thinking of getting this B to A pillar spreader bent for easier access, but A) i dont have a bender, B) i dont know anyone who has one, and C) i think this looks and will be perfectly fine getting around.
ok so heres where i think i cool idea is coming together. im making my frame ties, and i wanted to use the bars going out to hold my rocker sliders, as the frame tie ins.... i also wanted to mount the frame sliders, so i thought about doing this i cut 3 holes where i wanted the sliders to mount to the frame, welded the legs to the slider, and ill slide them thru the body, and at a slight angle down to the frame. the cage can tie into the front leg, and i can gusset that, also i dont loose any clearance, they will be at same hieght as the stock ones.... ill get some more pics as i get it done... camera died.

Glad you are picking up wind again. How much did the tube cost ya?

Put the hawgs on and hit a mud hole , you will never go back. Those are the radials , right ?

I think those sliders are my favorite I've seen so far. Do you have any pics of the underside, halo?

its a pain in the ass it is to swap over the boggers cause of the beadlocks... im gonna keep em in the gay-rage untill one of my trucks needs em... yea they are radials, 38*15.5*15's..... i got all 4 shipped for 1000 bucks :smokin:

ill get some pics of the underside for you... this was late at night, and didnt think about it.

:D i have a fan request...lol

in all honesty, they are slanted up a little more than i like, but it'l do donkey. at least i can replicate the same angle on the other side, since i just chocked up a 2x4 under the slider, and welded them up on the floor. i then just made them angle in onto the frame, 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the frame, in the middle. simple, eh? oh and then i made little gussets to go on top of them on all 3. after i got them all done, i took clay, and stuck in inbetween the tube and the body, and jumped like hell on them. the clay had no indentions of movement, so i think they are burly enough to support the cage, and to support a hard landing

ok so like im welding and welding and welding the joints together. am amazed, but i think it will take me like another 2 hours to weld all the joints together
