Lambcrusher,

Alright! Glad to hear it. That motor will last as long as you want it. Good Job!

Looks like BobM has been busy, also.

LAMBCRUSHER, glad its fired and running well. I knew you had a rough few days, so I would like to CHEER you up even more.

Thanks Bob.

OMG! don't know what to say.....going to strip that taiol gate right now- before I finish the exhaust and stab the gears THANK YOU! I'll be in touch...:bounce:

First chance to read through completely.

Nice, nice work man.

I have no useful info to add in this forum, but since I saw earlier in thread and since a full floater, so it'd be no big deal to do....

presents the possibility of a twisted shaft, which requires cutting thru the housing in order to cut the shaft in order to bring out the third in order to replace said shaft

Problem solved....we think.

Twists? No big deal, rotate it out.

Breaks? Push it into the pumpkin and remove.

Beats cutting up the housing, but all theoretical, as of yet.

With 37s, it won't be long before its tested.

Full Float axle
Disc brakes
E. Brake

Sounds like it was well worth the effort.

Minus the elocker for me, but that's what I'm saying, too.

Total Off Topic Drift - Delancy, you make axles? Sorry, I lay pretty low over here in the Pig Pen...

LAMBCRUSHER, still haven't taken mine out yet. Just need the plastic gear, unless you want to unload the whole thing.

Thanks Bob.:):beer::beer:

it will be on a bus by monday;) doesn't make much sense to take the gear out of the box, so I'll just send ya the whole thing. it does work.:cheers:

got uncle Kyle comin over to help with the gearboxen. got a cheap raptor muffler on a short run of pipe dumping out at the front spring hanger of the rear axle- for now. That Delta is LOUD. if it don't give me the extra up the hills boost, I may swap to a smaller profile. I know that the valve train work may have also added to the racket:rolleyes: I guess you can't have everything you want.

do you guys know where I find the jaw firmly on floor emoticon? Bob, you are a SAINT of the Iron Swine...

gears in place. driveshafts in the am

she drove up the drive on her own. still have some tuning issues, can't seem to dial in the timing, the valves sound a little quieter this morning. very lopy at idle- like a full on drag car, but it revs out fairly smooth

Lambcrusher,

Did you change anything with the carb.? Vacuum line off? You prolly have it figured out by now, anyway. :)

YYYYAAAAAAYYYYY. Once you get it tweaked it will run 4 ever. Monday Bus sounds good same here.

Thanks Bob.:cheers::beer::beer::beer:

had to pull off to go to the hot springs for the last couple of days. it was NICE. got back just now and dialed in the carb and dizzy, got 15"s of steady vacuum, the valves sound quieter, and the idle is much smoother. The new exhaust exits before the axle and turns down just after the new turbo muffler. sucker sounds like a diesel...

wOOOHOOOO!!!:bounce: it runs! sounds much better today. speedo works again. butt dyno says 15 horses more than before, but she also seems to rev higher smoother and just a hair faster. best part is, no misses and no leaks:bounce2: sounds meeeen; I'll hafta figure out how to post up some audio

Very Good! It's always a good feeling when everything works right.

Now, let's talk about that truck bed. You really getting rid of the flatbed? The flatbed is got to be the coolest thing going. I'm a flatbed guy, had a few. You're going to miss that big deck, to haul stuff on.

Now drink something, smoke something or chant something, whatever you do to get to your happy place and think about it.

Talk to you later about it! :)

Just messing with ya, do what you got to do.
