Has the reason for the hold been officially announced?

Sunroof drain hose(s). I believe they are trimming them at Port. I could ask for more clarification. The hold was due to the implementation of a fix and the backlog to actually perform the fix. It would cost magnitudes more to ship them to dealers and thus be forced to have dealer service departments perform the fix. My OT+ slipped through just before the hold. I'm not sure if/when we'll hear from the dealer bout it.

I spent the weekend with this OT+ prototype with the AAP parts and some future model parts.

My GX just arrived at my dealer today, but naturally I have work and travel commitments that will delay pickup till JUL12

My truck was caught in the sunroof QC; Jul12 makes 56days from the hold, but my truck has been stateside since April17.

Yea, they are calling me to. At least 3 dealers have as many sitting on the lot right now. I told them I’d like to come test drive and compare to my 200. They all said no to test drives. Like how the hell can someone buy a car without taking it for a spin first? Just for grins I asked if I had cash in hand today what they would sell one for and was told $10 to $15k over sticker

I let them off with a polite but firm no thanks. Left the door open for them to let me know when I can test drive one.

Back when I was still shopping I told a couple that I wouldn't pay over MSRP. I expect I'll get a call in a few months.

On the GX side, I would imagine there will be more than enough stock in the next year or so to where we may even be able to get discounts on them.

Longo confirmed a GX OT+ with ML sound, black interior in Earth arrived today for me. If all is as expected I’ll bring it home tomorrow.

The only disappointment for me is the roof rack the distributor added. I’ll pull that off right away and decide what I want to do with it.

It has the Lexus rock rails which I’m ok with for the price. I have seen them on GXs and LCs and they are real rails. My preference would be 0 degree and with a kick out. I can replace them in the future easily if I decide.

I’m still on the wait list for one but was told at the time it would be one year at best, possibly two before it was my “turn”. Of course that’s always subject to change but having just bought myself a 200 as well I am not in the market right here and now unless someone wants to make me an offer I can’t refuse.

I’d just like to drive the 250/550 and see what they are like for any future consideration. I suppose I could always go the route of some others on Mud and end up with multiple Cruisers!

I was at the Toyota dealership today, to my surprise there were a few 1958 and LC trims sitting out front collecting dust. They do advertise a market adjustment, but as soon as you tell them you're not paying that, they remove it.

I also got a call from the Lexus dealership saying I could come buy a OT+ that arrived today. I was not expecting that call as I was around 60 on the list. Looks like a lot of people are not buying.

I passed as I don't want a + and still need my Sequoia for a few more weeks.

Mine is premium+ in Nori Green with black interior. I could have done a OT+ in Nori, but don’t really need or want what the OT offers.
