The Nori Green is a sweet color, btw.
When pricing comes out I’m gonna opt for Earth or Nori to open my odds up. Nori is awesome.

Yep. Mountain States, in Denver for example, consistently bests (by a lot) our local Flagstaff dealer in both inventory and price. They make the plane ticket and scenic drive home well worth it.Absolutely. It’s also going to be regionally skewed based on what sells.
For example: I guarantee a high volume dealer in Denver Colorado will get far more allocations than a high volume dealer in Kansas City, for example. (4Runners are one of the most popular cars here, and you also see a lot of 80s,100s, and 200s despite never being a high volume seller in the US)
figuring it will be closer to thanksgivingAs of a few weeks, still no updates on pricing or whatnot from the dealers in Austin or Dallas.
Hoping we get some info soon!
I can't wait to drive this and compare it to how the LC300 drives.
Very curious to know how much it weighs.
In the past the Prado was always a better city daily driver + lighter in the sand dunes (If comparable engines) - but the Prado used to be noticeably smaller.
So I am curious to see if this still applies with the 250 vs 300 now that they are closer in size - with LC300 using more aluminum on the body.
My 2019 power wagon might have weighed 7k from the factory, but with rock sliders, extra skid plates(transmission and front diff), topper, and every-day gear, it’s 8k.Wow, almost 6K pounds for the 300-platform vehicles. That's similar to a Ram Power Wagon 2500 from the '00s. A new Power Wagon is "only" 7,000#. Crazy when Toyota SUVs are encroaching on 3/4 ton HD truck curb weights.
Nice looking rig an I really like the Power Wagon, BTW. Nothing against the weight of a Power Wagon, it's really a knock on Toyota for such heavy SUVs compared to a 3/4 ton tuck with solid axles, much more wheelbase, frame stiffness, payload and towing capacity, etc.My 2019 power wagon might have weighed 7k from the factory, but with rock sliders, extra skid plates(transmission and front diff), topper, and every-day gear, it’s 8k.View attachment 3458494
My LC300 GX (base version with 1GR ) weighs almost around the same as your modded GX.... but my 300 is completely stock.Nice looking rig an I really like the Power Wagon, BTW. My GX with sliders/skids/drawers/tools is around 5200 pounds on the scales at the local dump. Not too bad at all.

2,400 kg/5,300# is not too bad at all. Perhaps the US weights are just heavier for the LX600 due to the luxury features. Either way it's just too heavy. In high school I had a 1972 Chevy truck with a 127" wheelbase that weighed a whopping 3,800# empty. Vehicles have just gotten too big and bulky at the expense of fuel economy, braking, acceleration, etc.My LC300 GX (base version with 1GR ) weighs almost around the same as your modded GX.... but my 300 is completely stock.
As per the GCC Spec brochure - The highest LC300 sold in the Middle East unloaded weighs 2300kg ( 1GR minimal specs ) and the heaviest LC300 - fully loaded diesel/Petrol twin 6 weigh around 2600 - 2645kg.
Mid spec version would be around half way 2400/2500kg range.
Thanks! Yeah it’s a great truck, just thirsty and big (tough to drive on a lot of trails). The weight definitely starts building up on them once you add some upgrades and armor, though I suppose it’s not any different on a Land Cruiser.Nice looking rig an I really like the Power Wagon, BTW. Mine's an oldie, 2007. Stock curb is 4800# or so. Sliders and skids are 150 pounds or so, drawers and tools are maybe 150-200#.Thanks! What year is your GX? Lexus says their curb weight on a 2023 is 5200# fresh off the lot

Was at North Amertican HQ in Plano for a LC250 event yesterday.
They still do not have a final configuration yet. Fuel tank size is still TBD. They also walked back the 27mpg number that was released. Stated vehicle availability would be April 2024, and pricing and final configs would be released by end of the year.
Did you engage with mainly marketing people or where there any Product Planning or Japanese Vehicle Engineering folks there to interact with as well?
