That looks great! 33.43" diameter is a great size for our vehicle as well. Question - how much space do you have on flat ground from top of tire to bottom of fender front and rear?
Thanks! I haven't measured it at all. It's higher in the rear than it should be since I don't have enough weight on the rear for the springs. But I have a steel bumper and roof rack in the works...

When I first bought my GX in September of last year I came here looking for some information on wheel, tire, lift combos etc. everyone here pushed me away from 35s, fear mongering me here and there; re-gear??? this and gas-mileage that; and I decided that this was my build and I wanted it to look the way I wanted it to look so I went with it.

Only reason why I say this is to inspire the new buyer to do whatever he or she wants! Just have fun with it, and enjoy it! They’re amazing rigs.

I get a lot of questions of how I’m doing what and what am I running so I’ll share.

Wheels: 17” method 314 17”x8.5” 0 offset
Spacers: spidertraxx 1.25” all around
Lift: Ironman foam cell pro stage 2
Tires: Mickey Thompson Baja mtz p3, 315/70r17
Other mods: Body mount chop, pinch weld trim, spc adjustable upper control arms, adjustable front and rear sway bar links, front bumper trim

I know it’s not perfect but I’m happy the way it turned out! And the plus side is… i don’t rub. Like ever actually ! Enjoy!

Is there anything you don’t like about the 315’s? No rubbing at all? I just ordered wheels and a lift but I’m not settled on tire size. I want 315/70r17’s but 285/75r17’s seem to come with fewer problems.
 
I finally lifted mine so the soccer mom vibe is completely gone (I hope)

Great part of this combo/setup is zero rubbing with no BMC or pinch weld work. Rides like a stiffened Lexus...well worth the effort to get rid of the marshmallow feeling of the OEM setup.View attachment 3469910
How much did those super pro double offsets move the wheel forward? Looking at getting some before putting my lift and tires on.

To be honest...I haven't made a measurement. I can say it's enough to clear 34x11 tires with no cutting on anything. I've got about an inch of clearance at the body mount.

That’s awesome. Have any side profile shots of the front wheel as it sits with the superpros?
 
Stock 2006 suspension. Everything functioning well, but probably has some droop.

Wheels: Fifteen52 Matrix HD 17x8.5 0 offset
Tires: Cooper AT3 275/70r17 (about half worn 8/32 tread left. Bought used).

Only a slight amount of rubbing on the reverse. The front liner at the bottom. Drives great!

BFG KO2's 33's (285/70/17) - they're OK but they're terrible at self cleaning. Think I'll go with Toyo's next. Still getting a weird rubbing/crunch when turning left into an incline, I've trimmed and hammered back all I can).

Get around to installing my rack & pinion, CV axles, brakes, and O2 sensors.
If I have time and money, proper steel bumper and a rear tire carrier swing out
She's been running like a champ at 191k miles.
 
So I’ve got an 04 gx470 with the dobinson ims lift and method roush 17” wheels with the 0 mm offset it currently has 285/70R17 on it which are fried I found a good set of like new open countries in a 305/70R17 would these fit without modifications other than what I already have? Saw someone in the thread with the same setup w/o spacers or cutting but they had -12mm offset any feedback is appreciated!
 
Why the trade? You just prefer the look of the racelines or wanted a 9" wheel or something else?
I swear I replied to this already...

Anyway, I have never been a fan of that TRD wheel. I do like the look of the Racelines more, and when the dude posted on Facebook, I jumped at the chance to swap them. I would rather have the 8" wheels, but I don't rock crawl this thing, so I'm not too worried about only airing down to ~15 with such wide wheels.
