Looking at the awesome rear fj cruiser antilock swaybar mod, but try as I might, I cannot find anyone who has done the front. Why is this...? Any leads on this mod?

The front doesn't work the same and there is nowhere else to put it. Really your options in the front are:

1. Live with it.
2. Remove it

Not to be smartass, but there really are no alternatives for the GX. You can buy beefed up front sway bar links but that is just for strength, doesn't change suspension performance or flex.

I always thought you could implement the sliding sway bar links for the front to smooth out the ride and possibly add some articulation. I would imagine this would for the GX as well.

@Vlad did the rear anti rock sway bar. Maybe he can chime in as to why he didn’t do the front and what he’s got going in the front

Technically you can, but almost no one does.

Even Baz, the original creator of the FJ ones in the thread you linked no longer makes or runs them.

In the GXOR FB there are 21,000 people and maybe 3 or 4 have run these? If there was an easy solution that worked well it would be very popular.

You can buy hardware and make your own, but the general consensus is they are loud, prone to break, prone to rust, and they take out your CV boots when they go.

Everybody who is serious about front articulation and long travel gets heavier springs and runs no sway bar.

That comes with risks on the highway of course, but that's the best option.

Because the rear is really all you need once you lift if your suspension is designed right.
