I never pay attention to mileage especially when this isn't my daily. The other thing is I always stick my foot in it to here that sound...
I felt that way when I first got my GX but as I started doing longer trips I realized that better MPG meant I could go farther, which means i can carry less spare gas and more food and ammo. I'm not looking to add a 35 gallon gas tank and extra pumps and what not, so improving mpg just makes sense.

I paid about $220 for the system.
That seems like a great deal! I had a hi-tuck Dirty Deeds/ BAMuffler built for the FJ. You could park the truck on that muffler. It was a great system but I paid for too. I’ll probably have them make me a hi-tuck for the GX when the time comes for a replacement.
