Just a sign of the times my friend. We've become much more than just an "FJ40" club, we've become of a Toyota 4WD club as has most everyone else. If any of the "Cruisers" clubs were exclusive there would be far fewer folks around.

Anyway, I hope the forecast improves.

You guys have a great time, I am out as well. :frown: Will join on the Durhamtown run, hear that other clubs will be there as well.

Wet about sums it up, the later in the day the worse it got. There were about 60 other trucks out there, mostly J**p guys from a Carolina club.

Anyone try the trail named Sidewinder? And the hot dogs? Were they serving the $1 hotdogs? I love those.

We stayed off sidewinder this time. Next time you come we can take your truck over there. You missed out on free hotdogs and hamburgers too.

Ted... Did you happen to see how the rusty truck that was winching the buggy over do at the trails.. That is the truck my brother built using a junky 40 frame and running gear he got from Henry. Pretty neat truck.. Just heard the other day that the guy my brother sold it to re sold it. I dont think it had ever been out before.. use to have stock doors on it with a really cool logo...
It has 529's, 1f propane, 4spd, 4wheel disc. 1/4 elip rear and linked front... oh yea I need a mini truck booster and m/c for the LV ( soon to be 4 wheel disc) Thanks
