Hey GA crew,

I will be visiting Notely Lake near Blairsville July 11-15th and will def be looking to hit Beasley Knob or any other area trails while I’m there. If anyone would like to get together for a ride, let me know. I’ll be bring my 1995 80 series.
Also, if anyone had any other recommendations for trails in the area, I’d love to hear about it! Thanks,
Seth (843)327-9710
My current 80(at Uwharrie) and a pic of my Tundra from my last visit to Beasley Knob

I highly suggest avoiding the trail after any rain. The last 2 time I've run it, it was just a slip and slide on effectively hot peanut butter. Ended up being absolutely miserable just winching 150' at a time for hours.

I've never run it dry but I think it would be great. Wet, I'll never do it again.

Edit, I totally missed initially that you've already run Beasley.

I only remember one of the trails being muddy on my visit…I think it was “D”? But I came down it pretty much sliding the entire way. Put a few scars on the tundra in the process.
My 80 is a bit better prepared for it with lockers, sliders, and tires with some poke!

I just got done wrenching 150 hours last month and I’m ready to go.
I have no armor, bumper, or winch. I have 31” KO2s and a rear locker. I raised my rear differential breather, anything else I need for this trail?

Looks like you're ready to have some fun! From what I remember from my last visit, most of the trail system is pretty mild and I was able to do plenty with my stock Tundra. Sounds like it can get more difficult when there has been rain and it gets muddy. I'd say you're ready to rock! I still plan on being in the area in a couple of weeks and will be hitting the trail. Holler if you want to meet up!

I’m still planning to be in Blairsville next weekend and plan to hit Beasley Knob Saturday and Sunday morning before it gets hot! Will likely take it easy Saturday and get a lay of the land and then possibly hit the harder stuff Sunday. I’ll be in my 80 on 35s with lockers and a winch so if anyone wants to meet up either day, let me know!
