Sounds like I need to look into a YotaWerks Tune. Cruise control performance on my 460 is the WORST thing about the vehicle. Anyone In Western SD doing Tunes?
Check with Joey from Bomber Tunes, he should be able to tell you the closest YotaWerx tuner to you.

I'm here in north Idaho finally and mostly unpacked. Here's is last picture of the Texas license plate before it gets changed out for an Idaho one with a different word.

Bonners Ferry area. I may try to attend the Pandhandle Overland Rally or at least part of it. Depends on how cooperative the 4 yo daughter and wife are. LOL

I have several projects on the rig to finish before I do any events. Running boards and rear bumper need trimming and I gotta install more lights.

Wishing you the best in your new nest!

Texas lost a great citizen! Hope you and your family enjoy Idaho. We have just returned from Nor Cal and I talked to a young guy who wants to move to Idaho. Sorry to hear about your RAM issues. Quality is just not on the Auto MFGS in America list it seems like. GOD Bless your new adventure.

Thank you! So far it's been good. I hate to have to sell the RAM but a cannot afford to have that coolant hose issue or another issue happen either while towing or when on a trip into the boonies. LOL

The only other option is to see if there is an aftermarket solution that fixes this fragile issue. The other issues shouldn't have any impact on the vehicle running and will just be irritating to live with.

Ok folks I need your help. I'm going to be a volunteer at the local FD and as such I could use an axe mount for the front of my MetalTech bumper. Any thoughts? Would prefer a high quality product and not some low quality Chinesium.

On another note...I really need to cleanup my products post to reflect more things I've picked up and such.

Here's an option: Amazon product ASIN B006OZF6PYBut even though they lock, they can be unbolted from your bumper.
Do a Google on, "locking utility tool mounts for racks" or, "utility tool mounts for racks"

Ah ok. Good to know! Thank you.
My daughter is on her small town Texas VFD. It's crazy the improvisations they have to do on the regular. And they have a decent donor network and good department equipment... For example, morbidly-obese+hoarder+single-wide -trailer+deceased-several-days=(de)construction-level engineering for body removal. Good luck!

Whoa. That's craziness! The local VFD here has a tiny budget so improvisation is the name of the game.

FYI, the link is busted.

Is this something you could make work?

Didn't see where you could attach it to a steel tube. I'm finding it difficult to locate one that will. Most of the ones mount to a surface more than a tube.

Maybe this if tubing size is compatible?
