BAM BITCHES!!!!

Got to Peter's house and he already had the bumper beautified!

All we did is grab a couple rattle cans of flat black and sprayed it to keep it from rusting. Its only temporary. Just long enough to get to the powdercoater/painter (there is currently an argument between the :princess: and I. I may lose)

Absolutely no issues mounting on the ARB. Slid right onto the frame rails. Bolted up no issues either. Very VERY happy with how it turned out.

SPECIAL thank you to DYNOSOAR for busting his ass to get this done for me. The guy is a wizard with a cutting wheel and a Miller.

There are still a few things to do but they are minor:
• Mount the SS steps
• Mount the limb riser tabs
• Mount the 21" LED light bar
• Mount the VIAIR tank
• Finish plumbing in the OBA
• Decide what to do with the OBS because my initial plan won't work
• Mount the Anderson connector for the jumper cables

More to come!

Well now its the 101 to the 405 all hell the way down to Irvine.

You are all over my old hood with your commute.

You or Dyno painted over the ARB sticker... ;)

The bumper looks really good. So your bumper will have air, electrical, and hot running water. That is better than several third world hotels I have stayed in.

I would be interested in what it weighs... since you are pulling it off again to have it coated however the boss wants it.

I can picture you fabbing up some nice rubber bumpers to cover the Accord-killing clevis shackle mounts. Ideas???

Screw the accord. You need to do something to protect your ac drier from those pesky smart cars.

Just some more porn. Replaced the bolts with brandy spankin'. Sprayed the ARB flat black.

Still more work needs to be done. I will be making notes in another post.

Tim designed that for his rig and mine...we never actually sold any, I just happen to have an extra so your the lucky guy. but I would be willing to make a run of them if anyone is interested...we could do SS or Carbon. If enough people are interested I'll see what it will take?

I'd like one.

Interested also.

I am interested in the Connector Plate..

Impressive details. Going w/ powdercoating or leaving it painted?

Me too. :)

Ih8powdercoat. When corrosion starts, it really propagates under the pc. The stuff just peels off in sheets and you are left with rust. I am scraping all the pc off my once pretty adjustable control arms and panhards. I noticed my slee shortbuss starting to have some issues in places as well. It is 6+ years old now so not knocking vendors. When i do my rear bumper, i am going to get them both blasted and try out a quality paint job.

The bumper overall and Anderson connector plate are both trick. I think the bumper should be coated in some color besides black, maybe some complementary color to the pink panty rig. Gunmetal grey possibly.

How are those rubber bumper covers for the clevis mounts coming along? ;)

890man: thanks for relating the experiences with PC; good to know. I dig the old Amazons.

Its going to match the rest of the LX trim. Same as the rear IPOR.

Er, did I miss something?
