Combo of a few threads -
drove one last saturday and decided i liked it enough for a daily driver. Picked it up today - I got lucky in short.
When i asked about the lead time for one on the east side of seattle - everyone gave me 2-3 months (all the seattle area toyo dealers in fact - Called Rodland in Everett and had a firm deposit on a silver one coming in tomorrow. The Sales person John Yi called last night asking if i wanted a black one - Yes my first choice - but later recended the offer stating it was sold (he did not confirm that i had it to his credit) - he called back today - it's mine
picked it up at 4pm
Black - usual options inclding the boom box sub and hitch.
i like it .........
Paid MSRP - no BS - no 2nd sticker, no mandatory add-ons, nada -
Rodland was great to deal with and will get our biz when my wife gets her next big LC (we also have a 99')
Ordering the ARB bar as well.

Congrats. I put deposit on mine on Monday. Supposed to be here at end of month. Texarkana, Texas. Very easy to deal with. MSRP. Titanium, Auto $x$ with roof rack and other usual options.

MSRP on mine was $32081. convenience package, curtain aribags, upgrade package#2, skid plate, rock rails, toof rack, hitch, arm rest, tire cover, wheel locks.

It ended up being 31,500 with the normal 605 handling and tax, tag, title extra.
Conv pckg, Option pkg #2, roof rack, mats + trunk mat, hitch, etc.
52 miles and i already have a windshield rock ding!!

no lifts for me - i do some off roading but not enough to warrant doing that.
I will add an ARB front bar and winch & a second set of wheels for off-road tires
if i am going to get serious about that - i need to buy an FJ40 or unimog
same belief as track cars - they make awful road cars - you can have one or the other but not both if you want it "right"
