Got my roof rack mounts bent yesterday (10) along with a few others. Need to make the anchor bolts for them. Received 3 of my 4 LED bars.. DAMN FedEx... Oh well I'm not ready for them anyhow...

No Monstaliner this weekend, I have to go pick up one of the two FJ40s I bought yesterday.... NO one around me wanted free bumpers or sliders... SO ... I just bought my own R&D 40s (ONLY needed the one... BUT!! couldn't let the other one become LONELY!!) ;)

Hey, there is nothing wrong with having a few more Land Cruiser's around. They will appreciate each other's company when you're out with one of them on the trail.

Well I hope so... what a weekend... got my '69 to the house today.. I'll go back after the '68 in a few days... I'll start tearing them down as soon as Goss' Monstaliner is on and the glass is back in...

Looks pretty clean, just surface rust from here... I don't know what your plans with it are but I'd get her running and not mess with the paint.

I need to find a motor for it. It has a GM 270 in it that is in-operable. I have a 110k - 2F/4spd and TC from an '85 60 that I could check out and throw in there.

I feel sorry for the next deer that stares into your headlights. Very nice lights.

Woah, those things look like they'll have enough power to incinerate anything in front of them. Can't wait to see those on Gos (yet another idea i may steal :hmm:)

The elusive pronghorn is a severe hazard here.... STUPIDEST creature EVER!!! They will run right up to the highway... STOP... wait for you and then run out in front of you at the last minute...

Steal away K. These are cheapies.. They do have the CREE bulbs... I paid a little less than 300.00 for the entire set.

May I ask what brand they are and if you could drop me some links for where you got them?
Im trying to upgrade my lighting situation on a serious budget.

Im also really interested in how they hold up to water over time. Keep us posted on how they do with fogging and water intrusion!!!

Thanks!

Will, these are Ebay specials. There are many varieties out there now, mainly chinese made. Just make sure they have CREE bulbs. Here is a link from the MUD Lighting forum on cheapie light bars. Other than rain and snow, the only one of mine that might see a submerged environment is the 24" that is going on the front bumper. I was suprised at the weight of these bars, the housings are solid! I am pleased with the packaging and appearance of these.
