So sending it out unpainted? For the new owner.. Try and find a local fab shop that will galvanize for you. And then you can paint over the top of that. eliminateing future rust issues.

Yes, uncoated....Well my local powder coater seems to be going out of business (good riddance---HIGHWAY ROBBERY).. closest galvanizer is in SLC IIRC, 170+ miles away.. Not very cost effective for the end user.

So for now its bare metal products leaving my shop unless someone wants Monstaliner coating.

I'm looking into building a PC oven, but I'm runnning out of time in the day/week to do things...

It's nice and warm in Texas J, No rust issues either :D.

No rust issues here either.. We like the cooler weather.. I voted Oregon, Washington or Wisconsin and the :princess: voted for Oregon, NY or Maine. So, who knows.. I hope Oregon or Wisconsin is in our "by end of year" plans...

Dangit J, you're just going to force me to pay shipping aren't you:p?

Well, Jas wants an 80 rear and you want a 60 rear... If you both buy in the next 2-3 weeks, I'll meet one of you in Midland or San Angelo... It'll give me a reason to go see "the rents" and do some bidness as well.

hmmm :hmm:. Gonna hafta see is I can sneak some funds past the :princess:. A trip to San Angelo would be nice in Big Red. Fitting two bumpers in there could be interesting.

Ok J, I grew up in Boston - NY and Maine should be out of the equation - the rust alone is evil enough out there to make me say no to ever going back.. :flipoff2: Oregon is beautiful as is my new home state of WA. Listen to your :princess: . If you go PNW I'll be ready to help you move in with cold  waiting....and I'm talking high-end

K, She wants to go back east. I prefer the PNW, just need to find where now. If we do, I will hit you up on the offer AND definitely on a good  or :beer:.

Got the bumper and swing-outs crated up and put Goss' back on. The :princess: wants her 80 back... so I'll bust some A$$ and get those done next week () and start on the sliders and the triple swing-out for Goss. :grinpimp: I am up in the air if I will cut the lower 1/4s or just build some 1/4 protection..

Cheers all and have a good weekend. Pretty much this week is for T-T and my projects, unless someone calls for something. So get to calling people..... HA!

Noted Oaks, thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll have'em dip the whole rig while I'm at it ;)

On another note, Jason has been super professional and a pleasure to do business with! Kept me posted, as he did you all every step of the way.
Here's to great success with your new venture J.
Cheers to Trail Tailor!
