That front bumper looks beefy J! I may have missed it in previous posts, but are you planning on adding any grill protection?

Shaved the wings and this is where it will stay. Not much else accomplished except cut my tubing to length for my sliders. Got my plasma pantograph mounted to the cut table as well.

Perfect!

Beautiful work J! Wish my cruiser bank was in better shape, but maybe next year after engine, t-case, H55f, lift, tires, seats, carpet, etc, etc, etc...

Love the look and functionality of your design though!

Looking good! I wish I could hang out in your shop and drink beer while you work. That would be fun.

Not to far from IMO!! Thanks Dan.

J,

That bumper looks so good!

Thanks J, We aren't gonna make it to SLC this weekend. I'll keep in touch though. We need to sit down and visit for a bit on things...

Thanks E, well get to moving on your work and I'll save some steel for you. ;)

A, just drive that '84 up here and I'll get you where you need to be. Throw that ARB away too... :moon:

Thanks all,

J

Bumpers are coming along very nicely :) Super interested in seeing them both get finished.

Looks good dude.. got your message, will call you later tonight if that's alright. I know you are an old codger and whatnot but you can text me too. :moon::lol::lol:

I can text... Not that OLD, but OLD ENOUGH! But prefer calling on more important items. The context of a "text" conversation is sometimes LOST, IMO.

No problem dude, happy to take a look at that for you and see what I can do. Getting jealous with all the toys you are getting! But well deserved I am sure.

No plans for anymore work this weekend, need to catch up on some "house" details.
Plans for the next week... Work on the :princess:'s 80, finish the 4 bumpers for the 60s and start the rear and front for the 80s.

If I have time I will build the SUA clearance brackets and maybe get the new springs under Goss' front end.

 have a great weekend guys.

J

That is easily one of the best front bumpers I've seen. Great lines, solid design and top notch build quality. Great rig man.

Thank you so much, its been a long time coming for me to get in the shop and start welding again. I have had a blast this past week fabricating bumpers for customers and myself..
