Wajax did have some, not cheap but whatever. I'll find some spares off eBay or something.

Part number in case this works and anyone else wants to try it.

Got my high beam indicator working. Didn't need the led in my case, but I threw one in anyway.

They're a much whiter light, don't dim at all near as I can tell. Not that you'd need to in a 40.
Still probably only check gauges as you pass street lamps.

One truck done.

4x series are not wired like a 6x series. It’s wired simply and as most would wire a system. This seems to be a 60 issue as they are wired in reverse with the switch grounding the lights causing the high beam indicator issue with the new harness.

Haha, yeah mine is a special case.

I just ordered a set like @stevebradford had... hoping there are two to the set, Toyota Parts didn't have that info and it's not returnable.

When you ordered them how long did they take to arrive?

I’m thinking mine should be here, but haven’t heard anything from Toyota. I’d not realized how long it has been.

Hopefully they haven’t gone and sold them to one of you… ;) I want the lights and don’t want a refund. I wouldn’t put it past JP Toyota in Victoria to have sold them to someone else. The parts department has been good to me over the years, but the service department has done some things that could easily be considered fraudulent. I won’t rehash that now… but I’ve considered driving to Duncan rather than giving them my money. Come to think of it, we have been treated like second class citizens since we stepped on the lot to buy our Prius in 2008… if we hadn’t known a different sales person (who we liked) we’d have gone to Duncan to buy it. Over the years it has become apparent “new car salesmen” are just “used car salesmen” selling newer cars. There are of course exceptions… but certain people are drawn to professions like that, and they aren’t mother Teresa candidates.

Well Mother Theresa was kindof an evil bitch so....there's that.

But, I find Toyota sucks at calling when something has arrived. You may need to put a bit of stick about.

Give them s***. Mine were there in a week. There were apparently 100 sets in Cali when I got mine.

Well what are the odds… after 2.5 months, I called on the day, “it just came in”. If that’s the case, I should go buy a lottery ticket.

I say B.S. there’s no way it just arrived today, on a Saturday. :grinpimp:
