Good friend of mine called me a few weeks ago and had just bought his wife a 2011 and wanted to put 35's under it. A few calls and there just wasn't any good definitive answer if it could be done. And there isn't a kit that has everything needed. So a week of research and we ordered the parts. In a nutshell your taking the cruiser A arms off and replacing them with tundra arms and cv's. Giving a 1.5" wider stance on each corner on the front. We went with a hodge podge of parts because he was on a budget.

Camburg tundra upper A arms
Stock tundra lower A arms
Bilstien adjustable tundra coil overs
Tundra tierod ends
Tundra cv's
Ironman B series lifted rear spring with foamcell pro shocks.
1.5" wheel spacers for the rear

The only unknown which Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters helped with was how to deal with the KDS system. Which we thought might be an issue but wasn't. Thanks Kurt for putting up with us.

Lift went smooth. Only issue we ran into was rubbing on some of the plastic wheel well. 5 min with an air saw and all was well. I will say having the factory flares helps hide the cutting.

That's a 4" lifted 80 on 35's. The 200 is just as tall. It's big. Real big. Love the look. Ride is just as smooth. And taking a curb at 45 is nothing in this beast.

Stock tires compared to the 35's

General idea of how much higher it is.

It's around 39.5" in the front and 40" in the rear. The half inch isn't noticeable.

I'm 6' and this 200 towers over me. This combo just makes this cruiser look so much more balanced.

Great stuff! Thank you for posting.

I'm curious about relative cost, as I'm close to doing a lift on my stock 200 soon. The Tundra arms and CV's intrigue me.

Can I ask how much the CV's and arms cost?

Also... You mentioned "factory flares." Do you mean you had those on the truck from the start? Or did you add those? Wondering how much they were too.

Anyway...nice work. :)

Rig looks great!! Good to know that is a option in the future

thanks

Truck is beautiful
Lift is gorgeous

However those flares are hideous . 80 looks great with flares. I think the 100 and 200 looks best without flares

On the 200, the way the flare cuts around the gas cap and the rear passenger door seems off to me. Also the way it goes all the way down to the front bumper looks wrong

Maybe if the flares were better shaped or thicker like the 80, it would look better . Not sure but it looks cheap and stick on and not as well integrated as the 80

Yes!... add another one to the Tundra a-arm list. One thing, running the Tundra arms and 6112 Bilsteins at clip position 4 requires the bump stops to be spaced down to prevent coil bind at full bump, thats is what the washers in the 6112 kit are for. Additionally, the Land Cruiser bump stops are shorter and allow more bump travel than the Tundra bump stops, so you may need Tundra bumps.

Thanks, Marshall, Kurt, and Carl. Marshall you and your crew did a great job. The 450 mile shake down went flawless. Was cruising at 80mph towing my car trailer, smooth ride with very little vibration from the km2s. My wife loves the truck! For her DD!

thanks for posting biggest thank you is for the measurements of the height; that helps us a lot that have to park in parking garages for work etc. keep us posted on the on going settling etc

Great thread! Good info!

(Now I gotta tear mine down and rebuild it all and go buy 35's!)

Looks better on 100 & 80 as they came from factory like that. On the 200 it's an aftermarket port installed item. Checkout the bushwacker fender flares they're exactly the same.

Depending on tires you really need the flares. If not then the tire is going to stick out a little bit. Slinging water, mud and rocks. I like the flares. Breaks up the body lines of the big body panels. Especially on a white truck.

I'll have to let Mike chime in on prices for the front. He sourced the lowers used. The CV's were around 90 each. Got those from rock auto. No idea on cost of the front shocks and camburg arms.

I think it depends on the angle you look at the cruiser as well, i loved the flares on mine buy after a year i couldn't handle the rattling anymore, the double tape under would get soft from our heat and once the sand gets in won't stick anymore, i think the only double tape that would've held it would strip the paint if removed.

You can see here how much more of a mess would've been made if the flares weren't on.
No mess behind the rear wheels, all the mud splattered around the body is from the front wheels

Was the purpose of the rear 1.5" spacers to match the newly widened stance of the front?

nevermind - dumb question - I see the answer

@Trollhole if you could manage to find more info or p/n's of the kit would be great to add in the top post and we could maybe make a sticky? @beno
