How much was taken off the heads?
Plan is to keep it as close to stock as possible since there was no damage to block, crank etc and heads/valves where still sealing. Just a full refresh and oem gaskets with upgraded, rods, pistons, and arp bolts and studs. and complete refresh of heads
They just refaced block and heads. Only real change is .25mm over for Pistons.
Hope to have more pics next day or so.

I'm not a machinist so hopefully that all makes since haha.

To late now and will be fine either way but still an unknown I guess.

Awesome build. I was about to ask if you will polish the intake / exhaust ports but then the last photo loaded with the top and bottom already assembled.

No porting on heads. Stock heads just refreshed with the original parts. Everything else also stock except for rods, pistons, bearings and ARP studs.

Hopefully starting it up soon. Boost will be low for a built engine. Maybe next year will go 5-600 hp. :)
No clue where it will be in current form yet...

Awesome. Every time I see a Toyota engine build I reminisce years ago when I built my 4AGE 20V with TODA parts from high lift cams, to lifters, valve springs lol.

That sc sounds sooo good.

For anyone following along, Clutch going in with pulley upgrade this week. Still driving for break-in. Boost looks like it will be around 10-11 psi at 6k. 9psi at peak torque feels very strong but timing is still set very low until dyno tuning.
Guess I'm getting old. Finished off the exhaust with 3" out the back with free flowing resonator. Very deep rumble and sounded bad ass at full boost but just to loud for me daily driving. Left everything 3" and added stock rear resonator/muffler back in and sounds perfect now. Quite at idle and cruise and nice sound u der acceleration. Couldn't catch any sound clips that worked on phone.

Trying my best to keep the 100% stock look and sound :)

What are you using for engine management and fuel system?
