Anyone use these during PHH replacement? It says they'll work w/ silicone and they maintain dynamic pressure. Also easy to install in tight areas. Seems to fit the bill.

These look like the "hot ticket for all you cruiser bobs" (figure out who said that and get a cookie at snack time )
I would like to try them but I would 1st like to know how hard are they to get off since the PHH is a PITA to get to :D
I think Id try them on a easy to get to spot that way I could montior it for a little while before "hiding" it
Whos buying a box as they dont look cheap :bounce:

Koffer,

IdahoDoug thought about these for his PHH so ping him if he doesn't jump into this thread. IIRC, his issues were with the tight space by the PHH and trying to get a heat gun up in there and with the difficulty in cutting them off come replacement time.

I've got a pair I'll mail you if you pay for postage and send me some chocolate chip cookies. I elected not to use them as I could see no way to get them back off in another 100,000 miles in that location. I'm sure there's a grinding wheel type tool somewhere that would do it, but....kinda tight up there. I think the best advice I could give on this would be that only someone who's changed their PHH before should try them as this person would be well and truly familiar with what it's like up there.

DougM

PS I'll still take the cookies.......
