Been searching the 60's forum and I can't find a single thread outlining the sizes and lengths of hose needed to replace all the vent and gas soft lines. Does anyone have this info? I prefer not to remove the lines and go source. Specifically the fuel evaporator lines that plug into the side of the tank that are accessed under the truck when removing the metal protective panel.

EDIT FINAL LIST HERE:
Fuel hose for evap and gas tank connections:
10 ft of 1/4" (6mm) was used for small lines under truck and some going to/from evap.
7 ft of 3/8" (9mm) was used for lines in rear quarter panel evap connector and a few under truck from evap to tank.
2 ft of 5/8 (14mm) used for filler neck to evap and 1 under truck from evap connector to tank. 1/2 super tight.
Gas filler neck to tank inlet used Toyota P/N 77213-60030. 1ft of 1 7/8" (48mm)
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Gasket Toyota P/N 77293-60030. Flat gasket between body and filler neck near gas cap.
Gas filler neck grommet at bottom of quarter panel. 48mm fuel hose goes through it. Toyota P/N 85301-60062

below are the part numbers for the kit that was sent out with the 1991 recall. There are a few hoses that are NLA marked with an X. I just picked up my 60 from Fred Haas Toyota in Spring TX. They replaced the tank and fixed the rear seatbelt guides per the recall. Since they were replacing the tank I had them go ahead and replace the fuel pickup on my dime.

Maybe I should be more specific. I was hoping to use generic hose and not the Toyota part numbers. I was hoping someone had a list that read, "3 ft of Ø8mm hose and 1 ft of Ø12mm hose."

Is it possible to get hose sizing off the Toyota part numbers somehow? It may be easier for me to pull them all and go to the local auto parts store. Straight hoses can be generic for me. I don't see a need to buy toyota unless it's a specific formed hose with a special geometry.

Thanks for the replies.

Thank you @Skeet

To verify from your post this is what is needed?

"The discontinued fuel hoses are 6mm and 8mm ID. Picked up 10ft each of Gates 1/4" and 5/16" ID. This should be enough for new rubber on everything fuel related."

EDIT: After doing the entire thing this is the final list:

So I swapped all the 1/4 fuel lines and then I go to swap the slightly larger lines only to find out the 5/16 hose doesn't fit anything.

I need to get the last few replaced before I can breathe easy on this weekend's upcoming trip. Next post shows the used hoses I am looking for.

These are the exact lines I need.

@beno
Are these all available through you?

Yeah, those last few are weird diameters. I got to the same point you did. We might need to find something off another OEM.

I am almost to the point of pulling the hoses this evening than travelling over to NAPA and any other place I can think of to simply try and match. The 5/16 hose is sitting unused as I cannot find a use for any of it. Maybe the 2F had them and not the 3FE? confused on that part.

I don't remember the sizes, but I replaced mine with generic hose from AutoZone. Take one off, drive down there, and go in the back. They will have what you need. It won't be OEM and pre-bent, but it will be much more affordable.

I took them off and drove to Napa. I used 3/8” hose for the stuff that was slightly larger than the 1/4” small stuff.

For the large hose under the truck from tank to evap I used 5/8”.

I also used 5/8” from filler neck to evap.

The 1/4” and 3/8” fit well enough. The larger 5/8” is a bit big and I had to use threaded generic hose clamps instead of OEM tension clamps.

There must be a better fitting option somewhere in the world that ships to USA.

All done for now and fingers crossed no gas smell in cab. (Charcoal canister is rebuilt and working.)

This is what I did as well. Sorry I don't even remember the sizes.

Where did you order metric hoses?
